Why Critique Your Professional Speaking Presentation?
This morning, I was the Showcase Presenter on my new Speakers Speak LIVE group, which is a small group of new, emerging and established speakers meet to practice speaking presentation skills.
After my ten-minute portion of a 60-minute presentation, all 11 attendees provided constructive suggestions for improvement.
One of the audience members mentioned something I hadn’t seen before in my speaking. He said, “Marty, you have a head tilt when you speak.”
Fortunately, I recorded the event and waddya know! He was right! I might never have picked up on that if someone else hadn’t been critically watching and listening to my presentation.
